Founded in 1984 by Alan and Steve Thorson, Minnowa Construction is a respected bridge and heavy civil contractor In Minnesota and Iowa. With over 75 employees and an excellent fleet of modern equipment, Minnowa Construction’s services include large complex interchange projects, grading, demolition, precast box culverts, dam renovation, historical bridge reconstruction, railroad bridges, bridge moving, bridge rehabilitation, bridge repair, concrete structures, foundation piling, cofferdam installations, and culverts. Construction contracts are performed on a continuing basis for the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Iowa Department of Transportation, Corps of Engineers, Department of Natural Resources, County Highway Departments, Townships, Municipalities and various railroads.
